Report on Ganesh Chaturthi Celebration

Holy Cross International School and Jr. College, Boisar, joyfully celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi on Tuesday, 26th August 2025, with great enthusiasm and devotion.
The celebration began during the school assembly, where the Principal, Fr. Henry Pereira, addressed the students and spoke about the significance of Ganesh Chaturthi, a festival dedicated to Lord Ganesha, the deity of wisdom, knowledge, and new beginnings. He highlighted the cultural and spiritual importance of the festival and encouraged students to learn from the virtues of Lord Ganesha.
Following the address, the teachers and students joined together in singing the traditional Ganesh Aarti, invoking blessings from Lord Ganesha through prayer and devotion.
As part of the celebration, students participated in an engaging and creative activity. They were provided with sketches of Ganpati Bappa, which they colored beautifully, showcasing their artistic talents and reverence for the festival.
The event concluded with Fr. Henry Pereira extending his heartfelt wishes to all the students and their families, wishing them a joyful and blessed Feast of Ganesh Chaturthi.
The celebration was a perfect blend of spiritual learning, creativity, and cultural awareness, making it a memorable day for everyone at Holy Cross International School and Jr. College.
