To mark World Environment Day, Holy Cross International School & Jr. College organized a special program to raise awareness about environmental conservation and the importance of a greener planet.
The entire event was held under the guidance and leadership of our respected Principal, Mr. Henry Pereira.
The celebration began at time : 7:45 AM with a morning assembly in the school courtyard. Mr. Pereira addressed the students and staff with an inspiring speech on the importance of protecting the environment, stressing that each individual has a responsibility to contribute towards sustainability and the health of our planet.
The highlight of the day was the plantation drive, where students and staff enthusiastically participated in planting trees and saplings in and around the school campus. This activity aimed to instill in students a sense of responsibility and care towards nature.
The program concluded with a pledge taken by all students and staff to commit to eco-friendly practices in their daily lives.
The event was a great success and helped strengthen the values of environmental stewardship among students and staff alike.
