Doctor’s Day Celebration Report

On 31st July 2024, Holy Cross International School, Boisar West, celebrated Doctor’s Day with great enthusiasm and respect for the medical professionals who serve the community with dedication and care. The celebration aimed to acknowledge the vital role doctors play in ensuring the health and well-being of individuals and society.

The celebration began with a special assembly, where the significance of Doctor’s Day was explained. The Principal and teachers shared insights into the history of Doctor’s Day, which marks the birth anniversary of the renowned physician, Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, who was also a key figure in the establishment of medical institutions in India. Following the assembly, the students participated in a Thank You card-making activity, where they created personalized thank-you cards for doctors and healthcare workers.
